Pot Thought of the Day:

The Florida Cannabis Action Network strives to find novel ways to draw more people into the debate about current drug policies. FL CAN uses direct action to educate the mass public and provides legal and technical support for individuals and fledgling groups committed to reaching out in their own communities. FL CAN is seeking partners who are willing to dedicate their time and resources to providing safe access to marijuana for those in need and ending the incarceration of nonviolent drug defendants.

Upcoming Florida CAN events:

See http://www.flcan.org for current and future events.

What CAN I do now?

On November 5th 2002 we could see great changes in Florida, or we could watch as once again cannabis law reform continues to be denied as an issue.
This election all seats in state government are up for election, and candidates are running around trying to speak to as many people as possible, so we ask that you speak with one local candidate, and ask them our 5 questions, as well as any you may feel are important.
For a printable copy of the questions we seek answers to download our Truth Police Brochure.

How CAN I help?
Contact your Representative in the House and tell them you support Representative Barney Frank, in his bill HR-2592 to reschedule marijuana to schedule II, which will allow doctors to legally prescribe it. If you wish to learn more about this bill visit NORML. Or use the following link to write yo your representative.

See Here if you need to get in contact with the staff of Florida Cannabis Action Network.
FL CAN is always in need of financial support, see Here if you'd like to help.
