| Florida Cannabis
Action Network
is an nonprofit organization devoted to the reform of all laws associated
with marijuana. We provide legal referral, public education, activist
training, first amendment support, press contacts, expert speakers,
and motivation to the movement to change Florida and the Nation's
marijuana laws. Currently we are helping Floridians for Medical Rights in its quest to place an initiative on the Florida State Ballot to amend the Florida State Constitution to allow those with serious illnesses to use cannabis as medicine when directed by their doctor. We also work with the Coalition Advocating Medical Marijuana(CAMM) in its "Truth Police Campaign" to confront Governor Jeb Bush of Florida, Jim McDonough, the Florida Drug Czar, and the various other leaders who continue with the inhumane practice of arresting and jailing the sick and dying. We also help CAMM in providing legal defense to medical marijuana users who are thrust into the horrors of our legal system. Florida Cannabis Action Network also organizes and sponsors "hemp festivals" throughout the state. These festivals are famous nationwide. These rallies have included such speakers as Jack Herer, musical acts such as Black Crows, and some of the neatest hemp items around. All for the sole purpose of educating the masses, registering voters, and organizing communities around the marijuana issue. Florida Cannabis Action Network is involved with just about everything having to do with drug reform, drug war issues, and free speech in Florida.
