Jaxcan, Inc. a not for profit corporation, has been formed in Jacksonville to organize, inform, assist, and aid citizens, patients, and activists in an effort to reform the current laws prohibiting cannabis. We will be sponsoring the Annual Jacksonville Hempfest, Conducting Protests and Demonstrations, Offering Legal Referral, Distributing Literature, Collecting petitions and raising funds for the hempfest.

The purpose of Jaxcan is to generate public support for the reform of all laws associated with cannabis in the Jacksonville Metropolitan Area.

Jaxcan, Inc. was formed on October 9, 2002 by activists working in the Northeast Florida Area for the reform of marijuana laws.

Jaxcan Inc. is governed by a Board of Directors which are elected at the annual meeting for a period of one year.

Membership in Jaxcan is open to all citizens 18 years of age and older and can be obtained by paying a membership dues of $20 and attendence at 2 consectutive meetings. Membership is contingent upon approval by the Board of Directors.

Jaxcan, Inc. is based upon the model of Cannabis Action Network and works closely with the other Chapters.
